Aruba before & after in moving images.

The above photo was taken around 1915. Ninety-six years later allot has changed. The building on the right is the current Archaeological museum and was built in 1911 as a government office building. To the left of it is the old protestant church built in 1846. In the current image it is hard to see due to the trees, but you should be able to see the church tower. Now next to the old church is the new protestant church built in 1949.

Bastille Day in Paris & Other Photos

Without planning we were in Paris on Bastille Day. Excellent opportunity for photos. We weren’t early enough to get a good spot to catch the parade but walking around Paris gave us enough to look at.

This guy looked like he stepped out of a movie.

Singapore: Then & Now

I’ve always liked pictures that showed the same place from the same angle but taken many years apart. To see how things change or even how much things change the same. Singapore is a very dynamic city, there are many new building projects but they also maintain older classical buildings. These photo’s are the results of some googling, figuring out where the locations are and spending a few days shooting in the hot sun. The older photos range from 1910 to 1950.
